Welcome to one of Northern Virginia's premiere hobby shops! We carry a vast variety of products, and for anything we don't have on our shelves that is of a similar genre, we will do our best to order for you. Here you'll find Magic the Gathering (one of the most extensive MTG inventories in Virginia), Pokemon TCG, board games, X-Wing Miniatures, Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer, model paints/brushes/spray-paint/tools, game accessories, tables to play on, snacks and drinks to enjoy, and much more!
Our goal at Curio Cavern is to provide each and every customer with the best experience they can have in talking about, playing with, and purchasing the hobbies they love. We are here for you :-) We have plenty of in-store table space provided free of charge for your enjoyment; we also usually host a variety of weekly events and tournaments (take a look at the Curio Cavern Facebook page for more details). We are always happy to help in any way we can, from aiding card gamers in building their decks to teaching customers about new games. There is no corporate overtone here, nor is there any aim to distance the relationship between business and customer into a cold, calculating schematic. We are quite the opposite, and we take pride in that.

Do you accept trade ins?
We accept most products that we sell on our shelves and those out of print for either store credit or cash. You will receive more in store credits than cash. How much will depend on what you are trading in and the condition of the merchandise.
Do you take sports cards?
We do not accept sports cards of any kind.
How does store credit work?
Your store credit can be used at all of our locations. It will also never expire. If you do not have any you can start by trading in merchandise that we accept.
Can we play games inside the store?
Yes, you may. You can use & reserve tables in store. Please note there may be some events that take up much of the store's tables. So please check out the schedules for all of the locations.
What games do you play?
We play a variety of games ranging from trading card games (TCG), board games, table top & role playing games.
Can we eat inside the store?
Eating is permitted so long as you help keep the store, merchandise and other player's properties clean. We also offer snacks as well in store.
